July 4th is an interesting day in Jamaica.  It seems a lot of the staff at the hotel celebrate their birthday on that day.  Although, I don't think it is really their birthday.

Happy Independence Day!  We weren't looking forward to it because it meant we only had one day left.	The boat ride to snorkeling trip, looking back at the resort.

The Mente Band.	Our waitress at the beach grill was always Sophia.  The kitchen guys got on her a bit, but we thought she did a great job.

Sometimes it was just nice to go back to the room and enjoy the view.	It doesn't get much better than this!
They had gotten married earlier in the day!	The Ocho Rios resort was next door so we walked over to check it out. "Cracker"

It took about 2 hours.  She had a blast.  It took 3.5 hours and a shower to remove the braids.	Tamara with the full hairdo.

Like I said the key is to relax after lunch.	Ahhhh!
Drink is good too.	The water was lots of fun, waves were small and there was always a nice breeze.

The sun sure is bright!  Oh wait that's Tom, the sun is up a little higher.	Daily swims to the pontoon were very relaxing.
