We took
Gabriel to the State Fair last Sunday and thought you would like to see the
pictures. Scroll down slowly as there is commentary below each picture.
Waiting
in the shade - it was hot as usual in Sacramento - for Dad to get back
from Nevada where they made him park the car.
Got
our hat on, slathered up with SPF 50, and keeping Grandpa cool by wetting
down the shoulder of his shirt.
Dad
finally arrived but was as hungry as the Donner Party and had to have his
corn dog right away. Tamara carried Gabriel for the first nine
months - Tom has the next nine. Do they look like 2 of a kind or
what?
Gabriel
doesn't even know what he is missing. He is so busy looking around
at everything, But I think he can smell that corn dog - he's
drooling.
Grandpa
trying to win a teddy bear for Gabriel - like he doesn't have any?
He seems awfully intent on the action though. I think this was just
before he spit up all over Grandpa's shoes.
It's
a Plummer tradition - have your picture taken while sitting on the Golden
Bear at the State Fair. Maybe next year he'll be able to actually
sit on the bear.
Well,
we lost him somewhere between the last attraction and the exit gate.
Guess he didn't care if he got a souvenir. Mom and Dad look a little
tired too.
