Entertainment:

Speaking of entertainment, the Hudson's will be hosting a Hospitality Suite at the Inn.  We will post the room number here once we know it.  The suite will be a central gathering place for the guests of our wedding and will allow a place for people to gather and get to know one another before the ceremony.  Peter and Stephanie will also be providing some snack's, soft drinks and Peter and Richard have whipped up a fresh batch of suds (homebrew beer) for the occasion.  With the rehearsal on Thursday and the wedding on Saturday, there should be plenty of time for this activity which we are both looking forward to.  If you need to contact the Hudson's ahead of time, they can be reached at : (760) 384-6061 (cel) or through their website at (Room 338) www.compositemodelworks.com.

Events:

Rehearsal Dinner: Also, if you can come to town early, and can attend the rehearsal (Thursday at 6:00 PM), Tom's father will be hosting a dinner at the locally famous Buco di Beppo.  Many of you have been to the one in Las Vegas and know how enjoyable the Family style Italian restaurant can be.  It's a relaxed atmosphere, you can tour the kitchen on your way to the table (we will probably be upstairs), order a glass of wine and see the biggest meatballs, I've ever come across.  We are extending an invitation to all of our "out-of-town" guests to attend the dinner.

Friday :  If you made it to the dinner the night before, you probably went back to the hospitality suite to partake of a libation or two.  So you are going to need to sleep in.  We respect that!  But those of us in the wedding party have some things to do.  Guys, we have to go pick up our tuxes in the morning and try them on.  Gals, Tamara has something special planned for you to in the morning, but when I was writing this I wasn't sure if I could divulge it.  Then in the afternoon we would like everyone that can make it to join us for an outing at the local Water park.  We will be providing tickets to get into the park.  They will be available at the hospitality suite (Contact Peter or Steph), and Tom will be handing some out at the rehearsal.  Waterworld USA is a water park with wave pools and lots of waterslides.  On a Friday, we shouldn't have too much of a crowd to worry about.  Our group isn't large enough to reserve a meeting area or to have food catered, so plan on a few dollars for a dog and some soda or beer.  Once people start arriving we'll try to scout out a meeting area on the lawn somewhere for everyone.  We hope that all have a fun and safe time.  Also, Parking will cost $6 per vehicle, so if you want to car pool, it is recommended.  The water park is located within CAL-EXPO, where the state fair is held every year. For parking enter the main gate.  To get to the water park, go through the main entrance, and straight ahead, follow the signs to Waterworld.

Friday night, we will let everyone fend for themselves.  As we already stated, there are plenty of things to do right in the neighborhood of the Inn, but the adventurous, may enjoy visiting old town (near the river), driving up to Folsom (<30 minutes), wine country, Nevada City, Jackson, or even San Francisco (about 2 hours on a Friday).  Tom will be hanging out at the hospitality suite and staying with the Hudson's, and Tamara with Tom's sister Kate.  They will not be permitted to see each other after midnight until at the ceremony the next day..  Your help in achieving this task is appreciated.

Saturday : Wedding and Reception!  Revel in our happiness!  Questions on the day of the ceremony should be directed to one of the assigned security officers (Jay, Richard, or Brian).  One of them will be carrying Toms Cell Phone 599-7347.  We have planned a short wedding ceremony in the park.  Following the ceremony we invite our guests to get out of the heat and head for the reception.  Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served immediately. Once the wedding party arrives, a buffet style dinner will be served. We have planned a lively reception with lots of activities and even a game or two.  

Sunday : Special guests of the families will be invited to gather for brunch and the opening of some of the wedding gifts.:
