After a few weeks of dating, after Napa... Tom decided it was time for me to meet some of his in-town friends. He set up a dinner and movie with Chris (aka The Dali-Lama). I don't remember where we ate that night, but we went the movie theatre in the mall to see Entrapment. We got in a few minutes late, the lights were down and we had a little trouble finding seats. I noticed right in the middle of the room, two seat available with an extra seat on the other side of the couple in the row. Soooo, I took a little initiative. I walked in, asked if they minded sliding over one so we could sit down. No Problem. I  did not think much of it until I over heard Chris (yes I did hear you) say, "Now she is definitely a keeper, Tom." Tom's comment something like, "It is not really 100% up to me." All I could think was.. A CHALLENGE!!

What made this evening even more special though was what happened after the movie. My cousin Kari (aka Attendent of Honor) had driven to town for a line dancing fix. My brother was planning on meeting her there, and I had told them I would try. NOTE: Tom doesn't do country music. He had gone once before to meet my brother and cousin. But, Chris was game so we went. I danced a little, talked a little and just enjoyed the evening. A few days later, Tom really shocked me. While we had been at the dance club, I had wanted to try a couples dance with him... he declined. But, he had picked up a paper with the dance lessons on it and offered to take me for 2-step lessons, so next time we went... I would have a partner.  About this time, I was really starting to know... this was someone I wanted to get to know better.
